All hunting and fishing enthusiasts are invited to come to our annual Sporting Gala. Each year the Pittsburgh SCI chapter invests in sportsmen and their rights – this is your chance to see what we have accomplished for you and join in our celebration.
The evening begins with hors d’oeuvres and games while you raffle for high-end merchandise (guns, purses, etc.) or participate in the silent auction. Enjoy a delicious diner with like-minded sportsmen as we recognize SCI members who have made significant contributions. Then, gear up for the highlight of the night when we auction off elite hunting expeditions, vacation get-aways and more.
Last year we raised over $400,000 and deployed these funds to help local veterans and hunting advocacy initiatives. Come out to enjoy a great evening and show your support.

Hunters understand the importance of legacy and passing on what we have learned. SCI brings sportsmen together providing the advocacy we need to protect our rights to continue the heritage that has been passed to us.
I have attended a lot of banquets and gun bashes over the years. The lineup of firearms at last year’s sporting gala was unmatched. Best-in-class brand names, unique calibers, and quality accessories that you just do not find at similar events. All of my shooting buddies who were not there last year…somehow they already cleared their schedule for next year!
The trip to Africa I won at the event turned out to be top-notch. This was my first time bidding for a hunting trip on live auction, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Not only was the whole safari experience a great value, but the time I spent together with my daughter made it that much better. Thank you for putting on a spectacular event, SCI-Pittsburgh!
Last year my wife and I were invited to this event. As a hunter, I had no idea SCI was the leader fighting for my PA hunting rights! I heard of battles being fought, but I never knew there was a powerhouse of advocates in my backyard winning the battles for me. Dinner was delicious, I didn’t win anything, but we sure enjoyed the celebration with like minded hunters.
You do not need to be an SCI member to attend the Sportsman Gala. Bringing friends and family members (over age 21) is encouraged and discount ticket packages are now available.
