The mission of SCI Pittsburgh Chapter is to protect the freedom to hunt and promote wildlife conservation regionally.
Recent success… within last 24 months our chapter has seen the following positive changes:
SCI Pittsburgh Chapter members help shape and promote the image of the hunter to the general public, through their words and actions.
In addition to practicing ethical hunting while in the field, SCI members give back by participating locally in educational, civic, conservation, and humanitarian efforts across our region.
Our members are involved in developing outdoors, hunting, and fishing programs for Youth, Women, and Veterans.
An intentional focus on conserving both wild things and wild places found its greatest energy from the hunting community. In the wake of the marketing hunting era, it was the sportsmen that physically and financial led the fight to preserve and rebuild what was left of the wildlife in North America. Something often conveniently ignored by the opposition, and something never discovered by the middle. This simple and unavoidable truth remains today. The facts serve as evidence to the truth that the hunting community is at the heart of conservation efforts globally. Membership matters. Become a member and be part of the solution!
